Saint Viventiolus (French: Saint Vivientol) (460 – July 12, 524) was the Archbishop of Lyon (ancient Lugdunum), from the year of 514. Later canonized, his Feast Day is July 12. He was the son of Aquilinus (ca 430 – ca 470), Nobleman at Lyon, schoolfellow and friend of Sidonius Apollinaris, the grandson of ... of Lyon (Lugdunum) (b. ca 400), who was a Vicarius of a Province in Gaul under the father of Sidonius Apollinaris between 423 and 448, and wife Tullia of Lyon (Lugdunum) (b. say 410), and the paternal grandson of Decimus Rusticus and wife Artemia, and also great-grandson of Eucherius of Lyon and wife Gallia? on his maternal line.
He was also the brother of St. Rusticus, Archbishop of Lyon.
